In our residential concrete work we offer the highest grade of materials available from the base to the reinforcement steel. We use 4000psi 6 sack limestone concrete. We pour a true 4 inch thickness of concrete. We recommend a maximum size of 8' by 8' slabs. Through shrinkage and expansion, concrete will crack. This can be minimized by following the above recommendations and the cracks should stay within the control joints when done properly.
